The Art of Fiji (The Hunterian Museum)
6/1/2015 - 1/5/2015
On 6 January, the Hunterian Museum in Glasgow opened an exhibition called The Art of Fiji. Glasgow historically served as Scotland's gateway to the colonies of the British Empire, of which Fiji was one from 1874-1970. Running until 1 May, this display of objects showcases key objects from the museum's collections and tells the stories of the artefacts snd their donors, all of which have a fascinating connection to Glasgow.
