Fabricating Fashion? Workshop Takes Place at the Oceania Centre for Arts, Culture and Pacific Studies, University of the South Pacific, Suva, Fiji

(18-21/03/2014)

First held in the UK in conjunction with the London Pacific Fashion Show in 2012, and independently followed up at the 2013 Pacific Arts Association international symposium in Vancouver, the third in the global series of workshops took place at the USP and coincided with the exhibition Art and the Body currently showing at the Fiji Museum. Hosted by the USP's Oceania Centre for Arts, Culture and Pacific Studies, and benefitting from the sponsorship from the Fiji Museum, Fiji Fashion Week, The British High Commission and the USP, in addition to the UK's Arts & Humanities Research Council and the Fijian Art project, this was the most comprehensive of the three workshops.

Rosanna Raymond discusses her performance art and photography at the workshop.
