Project Partner Museums

Nine project partner museums were selected because of their outstanding and significant Fijian collections.

Many other museums also have substantial Fijian material. It is anticipated that these museums will become project associates and make major contributions to project research. As the project enters into research agreements with each museum, they will be added to the Project Associates page.

The following institutions are official project partners:

British Museum (London, England)

Fiji Museum (Suva, Fiji)

Maidstone Museum & Bentlif Art Gallery (Maidstone, England)

Musée du quai Branly (Paris, France)

National Museum of Scotland (Edinburgh, Scotland)

Peabody Essex Museum (Salem, Massachusetts, USA)

Pitt Rivers Museum (Oxford, England)

Smithsonian Institution National Museum of Natural History (Washington, DC, USA)

World Museum Liverpool (Liverpool, England)
